Refresher Course — 4 hours | Hands-on & practical

Been away from screen printing for a while? This course is designed to get you back behind the press with confidence.

Over four hours, we'll guide you back through the full process — from coating and exposing screens to printing your artwork and cleaning up. You'll get hands-on time with all the studio equipment, including the exposure unit and washout booth, so everything feels familiar again before you start working independently.

Come with an idea

We ask that you bring an image or a rough concept of what you'd like to print. Maybe you have something printed on acetate. Working on something personal makes the session more enjoyable and gives you a real, finished print to take home.

A great stepping stone

This course pairs perfectly with our Annual Membership — many of our members use the refresher as their way back into printing before joining full time.

Studio Induction — 1.5 hours | Required for all new visitors and members

Before your first session in the studio, every new visitor and member completes a short induction — it's the best way to make sure you get the most out of your time here.

In 90 minutes, we'll walk you through everything you need to know: coating and exposing screens, preparing and printing your artwork, and operating the printing tables safely and confidently.

By the end, you'll have a solid understanding of the studio and be ready to dive into your own projects independently.

Please note: the induction is compulsory for anyone wishing to use the studio facilities.

3 hours | No experience needed

Curious about screen printing but not sure where to start? This hands-on workshop is the perfect introduction.

Over 3 hours, you'll learn the fundamentals of stencil making and get stuck into printing straight away. By the end of the session, you'll have two finished prints to take home — a single-colour design on a tote bag and a two-colour print on paper.

What you'll learn:

• Creating images using hand-cut paper stencils

• Working with hand-drawn designs

• Using digitally printed positives
